The Fourth of July is less than a month away, and I am THROWING myself into decorating! It’s never too early to feel a little patriotic, at least I don’t think so, anyway! I spent last week tackling my Fourth of July porch, planning an epic Fourth of July picnic. Now that those two ideas are out of the way, it’s time to turn my attention to my mantlepiece! Here is a collection of my favorite ways to decorate your mantlepiece for America’s birthday! The options are truly endless!
The budget for this awesomely festive Fourth of July porch was a whopping $0. SERIOUSLY. The wreath and the star are both created from paper straws. Jump on over to Organize Your Stuff Now for the full tutorial and a ton of other great ideas.
A collection of red, white, and blue items across this festive mantlepiece is what makes this DIY project pop! I love the sailboat in the corner, and I love how they repurposed a window frame! I love with I can recreate with old an unused items. This mantlepiece is from The Frugal Homemaker.
I am seriously swooning over this DIY Fourth of July bunting project. Pair it with a few less-dramatic decor pieces (like the small wreath, and the colored orbs) to create a really incredible contrast. Plus, you can buy this bunting instead of making it for those of you who aren’t as DIY saavy. This idea is from Terry’s Village but it can also be purchased on Oriental Trading.
This mantlepiece is from Landelluu and I cannot get enough of her eye for design! The beautiful garland is what truly makes this mantlepiece perfect for the 4th!
This is another cute project from Landelluu! Visit her website for more information on creating this mantlepiece for yourself. BONUS: Landelluu sells holiday printables like the ones pictured, so it will be super easy to recreate this refreshing mantle!
Pretty Handy Girl created this “lazy girl” mantlepiece for the Fourth. I don’t know about you, but this doesn’t look like a “lazy girl” project at all! You might be surprised at how fast you could recreate a project that was similar!
