I’m seriously jonesing for some warmer weather! This Carolina beach needs some heat! I’m headed to Bora Bora this week (in my dreams) and I hear these are the best things to do!
Paddle Board
We bought a paddle board this past summer and have spent many a hot afternoon paddling around the beaches. Paddling in Bora Bora is just as fun–if not more beautiful. It doesn’t matter where you go, all of the water in Bora Bora is gorgeous and will make for terrific photography!
Aqua Safari
A safari in Bora Bora is strictly an on-water experience. Expect to see animals and wild life like: exotic fish, sea grasses, and tons of other different aquatic wildlife. Depending on the group you travel through, you could add snorkeling or paddle boarding to your package. Seeing the wildlife is one thing, swimming with it is even better!
Snorkeling
Kim K found her missing diamond earring in the water here, so you just may see for miles in the crystal clear waters of Bora Bora! Spend an afternoon in the waters of the “blue lagoon” oogling at the exotic fish. Some snorkeling services will even take their passengers out to snorkel with the Stingrays!
Dine on The Beach
Sunsets in Bora Bora are considered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Even if you aren’t romantically honeymooning, make it a point to dine on the beach with your family. The scenery will make for beautiful photography, and you could even turn the evening into a family photo op! Talk to your hotel concierge for more!
Climb Mount Pahia
This tough hike isn’t for beginners…in fact, most climbers opt to have a local guide lead them up. The trail is unmarked in places, and it’s always best to have someone with experience in situations like these. Plan to spend about 90 minutes hiking and expect to see a spectacular view of Bora Bora.
Four Wheel Bora Bora
Looking for the best way to see as much of the islands as possible? There’s not a better way than to explore via four-wheel drive vehicle! You can go on a guided tour, or you can rent the machines for a day and explore by yourself. Either way, you are sure to stumble upon a beautiful village or two!
Matria Beach
Matria Beach was recently named as the “Most Beautiful Beach in the World.” Head out for a swim, or just lay out and work on your tan. What’s even better is that this gorgeous beach is rarely crowded. The long 2 mile beach will give you plenty of room to spread out and relax! Matria Beach may be the highlight of your trip!
