Dollar Store Crafts
#1 Floral Mouse Pad Seen On The Crafted Life
A fun DIY project, and a cuter workspace? Sign me up! You’ll need your old fabric scraps, and Modge Podge (found in the craft section at Dollar Tree)
#2 Tassel Garland seen on Pizzazerri
My youngest daughter’s birthday is coming up soon, and we spent a good chunk of time this weekend picking out birthday party decorations. To my surprise, she absolutely HAD to have a tassel garland instead of the traditional “Happy Birthday.” What can I say, my kids are growing up!
#3 Painted Terra Cotta Pot as seen on The Beauty Dojo
I’ve seen these cute hand painted terra cotta pots floating around on Pinterest, and It’s been love at first sight! Use stickers to spell out your favorite herb garden pun. I think mine would be “if I could turn back thyme…” 😉
#4 Succulent Bowl Tower as seen on Craftberry Bush
Yep… you guessed it… those are Dollar store ceramic bowls (found where the dishes and serve-ware are!) You might have to dose out a little more than a dollar for some potting mix and a succulent or two… but I think the results are worth an additional $20!
#5 Throw Pillow Tote Bag as seen on Dollar Store Crafts
Got a throw pillow that no longer goes with your color scheme? Uhm… can I tell you all a secret? I swear I have like twenty... time to put one to use with a quick dollar store DIY.
Yeah… that bag used to be a throw pillow! I love this transformation!
#6 Handmade Clay Bowls as seen on Alice and Lois
My dresser has seen better days… it’s time to brighten things up with a set of painted jewelry bowls. These look like something you’d find at Anthropologie for at least $25 a piece!
#7 DIY Gold Succulent Vases as seen on We Lived Happily Ever After
Who can get enough of succulents? They’re super low maintenance, and add a little plant lovin’ to any room needing a bit of life. These chic vases were found on Dollar Store shelves!
DIY Holiday Wreath as seen on Women’s Day
You’re not seeing things! This wreath is really made out of a dollar store hula hoop! This project does seem a bit more complicated than most (there is weaving involved!) but the results look promising!
Decorative Tray Table as seen on Homemaking Hacks
A large picture frame is given an entirely new purpose with a scrapbook paper background and a touch of craft paint. Your remotes have never looked so at home!
Striped Vase as seen on The Creativity Exchange
You can make these pretty vases for about $3.50 a piece! Don’t they look so much more expensive? I’ll keep your secret… no one will be the wiser!
DIY Terrarium as seen on Country Living
Recycle your old picture frames, or head to the dollar store to pick up a few new ones! You will need a set of utility hinges… and some acrylic paint; but this DIY can be made for less than $10!
DIY Moss Topiaries as seen on The Liz Marie Blog
A great way to add greenery to a white interior! While she got most of her craft items from Hobby Lobby, you can make something similar using foam craft balls, and moss from the flower section to recreate these topiaries!
Galvanized Address Buckets as seen on Just Vintage Home
Fill these with plant life for a fun front-door address display!
