Telluride, Colorado
If you need a break from the warm weather in your area, head to Telluride, Colorado! Experts can head on one of their increidble heli-skiing daytrips (it is just as wild as it sounds!) or just hang out at the ski resort for just as much fun. If you are visiting in the summer, head out on a backpacking trip!
San Diego, California
Escape to the beach for a fabulous and memory-filled 24 hour travel idea! For 24 hour travel in San Diego, I would recommend spending a few hours at La Jolla Cove and strolling along the adorable shops! Grab a last meal at the Mexican restaurant in Old Town! You won’t reget it, it was some of the best Mexican food of my life!
New York City, New York
Personally, I think 24 hours is the perfect amount of time needed for a complete New York trip! Spend the day looking at all the famous tourist attractions (The Statue of Liberty, The World Trade Center Memorial, and Times Square) and head to the Museum of Natural History for an adult-only sleepover! That’s right, it’s just like your own version of Night At The Museum! Better watch out for the T-Rex…
New Orleans, Louisiana
New Orleans is perfect for a quick romantic getaway. No matter the time you arrive in the city, it’s always bustling and always active, so you can start enjoying your vacation at 3 AM. Don’t forget to indulge in some of the incredible French food and be sure to grab a cocktail at Muriel’s Seance Lounge for a spooky conclusion to your visit.
Seattle, Washington
Make the most of a 24 hour travel trip to Seattle by visiting Pike Place Market, The Space Needle, The Museum of Pop Culture (now is the chance to show your family what you know about pop culture!), travelers can even see the Woodland Park Zoo (with real life brown bears!) if they have enough time.
Miami, Florida
One last location perfect for 24 hour travel is Miami, Florida. It doesn’t matter if you are visiting with your friends or family members, everyone will have a blast exploring the beaches and laying out in the hot sun. Before heading out, check out Little Havana for beautiful hand-rolled cigars ans tasty mugs full of cafe con leche. Plus, I hear the shopping opportunities here are absolutely incredible.
Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
For a little taste of an east-coast paradise, spend 24 hours in Myrtle Beach! Travelers should make time to walk down the Grand Stand (basically, it’s a giant boardwalk) and enjoy a few tasty treats. Plus, there are usually fireworks here every night. Check a local schedule to be sure! If you came to Myrtle Beach for the most gorgeous golf game of your life check out the Beachwood Golf Club!
