If you’ve ever looked up pictures of Turks and Caicos, you absolutely know what kind of a dreamland the island is. Equipped with the bluest and clearest waters you’ll ever see, and white sandy beaches to match, the island is a beach-goers paradise. If you’re looking for the ultimate spot to unwind and relax, Turks and Caicos is the vacation destination for you. Though I’ve never been, Turks and Caicos is worthy of a spot on my “sand” bucket list and it should be on yours, too! Whether you’ve planned a trip to Turks and Caicos somewhere within the near future or you’ve always dreamed of going, make sure you check these areas of the island out.
Stay At Parrot Cay
Friends of mine have SWORN up and down that Parrot Cay is the best resort to stay at while visiting Turks and Caicos. Nestled away amongst the crystal clear waters, Parrot Cay is only a 35-minute boat trip from the island city of Providenciales. The resort is all-inclusive with a spa and many hotel-led tours around the surrounding areas but visitors are encouraged to branch out and explore different areas of Turks and Caicos.
Check Out Chalk Sound
Chalk Sound is one of the best places on the entire island for snorkeling and gorgeous lagoon scenery. The water here is shallow, making it perfect for swimmers of any level or age. Chalk Sound is also a perfect area for paddle boarding and is actually recognized as a world-renowned spot for the sport! And if water sports don’t interest you, vacationers also love relaxing on these incredible beaches. Chalk Sound is a great destination for any member of your family.
Grace Bay Beach Cannot Be Missed
If you find yourself venturing away from your gorgeous resort during your visit here (I’ve heard it can be tough to leave!) make sure to visit Grace Bay Beach. The beach is easily accessible from nearby resorts in the Providenciales area and is known for having some of the calmest waters in the region. The beach is open to the public, so vacationers should be warned of crowds during the peak travel season.
Pine Cay Is Another Beautiful Place To Stay
Looking for another place to stay? Head to Pine Cay! Pine Cay is an 800-acre private island just off the coast of Turks and Caicos occupied by just 36 full-time homeowners and a small all-inclusive resort named the Meridian Club. Guest can stay in beachfront homes, suites, or deluxe villas. Guests should (of course) check out the luxurious spa and enjoy a few luxurious meals at the Meridian Club restaurant. The atmosphere is said to be absolutely incredible!
Eat At Coco Bistro
Located in Grace Bay, Coco Bistro is one of Turks and Caicos’ world-renowned eateries. Known for their delicious cocktails, cozy scenery, and incredible food, Coco Bistro is a must-visit for ANYONE visiting the island. Though the food is absolutely incredible, those on vacation can feel comfortable knowing that both casual and formal dress is totally acceptable when eating out here. Anything goes just as long as you come ready with an empty stomach!
