I love having aspects of the coast throughout my home! However, aside from the typical turquoise blue and nautical stripes, I sometimes struggle with how to paint my walls so they reflect the cool vibes of the coast. I’m setting out to paint my office this next weekend, and all of these are a contender! Keep reading for more cool ways to paint your walls!

Ombre everything is all the rage these days, and I don’t see that changing any time soon! This color scheme reminds me of a hibiscus tree on the Hawaiian islands, and I am loving every minute! The Spruce will help you recreate this sorbet-like wall in your own home!

Patterns like these aren’t typical when it comes to the coastal home, but I love the shade of the wall, nevertheless! Cool greys like this are reminiscent of gloomy days on the beach. Isn’t it relaxing! Learn how to paint a wall ( with a stencil, of course!) over at A Beautiful Mess.

You really can’t go wrong with a shade of nautical blue! The paint on this wall is slightly textured, but is less overbearing and loud than typical nautical stripes would be. I would love to do something like this for my office space! See how they did it over at Heathered Nest.

Geometric wall prints like these look like something straight off of a beach towel! Choose which ever colors you want, but don’t forget that patterns are crucial to coastal decor! Use stencils for the best results!

Coral blues and greens work together to create this sea foam paradise. Take a closer look at the painted shiplap wall in the background, It’s to die for!

Blue hues paired together in an ombre fashion look INCREDIBLE when painted in a chevron pattern! These look like the waves of the ocean are taking over your bedroom!

Forget about matching the shades of the room! Different shades of blue look wonderful when designed like this. The dark blue accents give the room much more depth! Find this (and more interior paint designs) over at Design Explora.

Coastal colors are the highlight of this baby nursery! The infusion of blues, tans, and browns brings the feeling of the ocean indoors. You can find this painting idea (and many many others) from Decoist.

If the chevron print wasn’t for you, this scallop print may be just the thing! Ombre shades of blues in this pattern look incredible, and oh so relaxing!

It’s impossible to go wrong with a classic blue shade like this one! Use white accents to keep the space light and airy!
