June 26, 2019 by Brittney Jacobson Leave a Comment

I love being able to express my personality at the beach. From the color of my nails to the style of my swimsuit, it’s so much fun to show your style in all of the ways possible at the beach. In fact, just the other day, I saw a woman at the beach with her body decorated in paint and I knew immediately that I wanted to try it out. What better way to express aspects of your personality than with hand painted accessories, patterns, or designs? If you’ve never heard of body paint, it’s only this summers hottest trend! These non-toxic paints make it easy to show your personality at the beach, lake, or even just out and about. Seriously, it’s all you need for perfect summer vibes. Learn how to make your own beach body paint with the non-toxic recipe below.

1 Here’s what you’ll need:
2 Step One: Mix together the flour, lotion, and cornstarch together in a bowl. Mix it well so that each substance mixes well with one another. If you’d like to make your paint consistency thicker, add more cornstarch to the substance. If you want something thinner, a little extra water does the trick nicely!
3 Step Two: Once your mixture has reached your desired consistency, drop in a few colors of food coloring. With the proper amount of food coloring, you can make your DIY body paint as dark or as light as you want it to be.
4 Step Three: Store your colored paint in an airtight container for up to three days. Simply wash the paint right off your skin when you are done.
