Here’s what you’ll need:
-1 cup of water
-1 cup of lotion (one with added sunscreen for protection at the beach!)
-1/4 teaspoon of vegetable oil
-1 cup of cornstarch
-Food coloring (in your desired color)
-Spoon
-Bowl
Step One: Mix together the flour, lotion, and cornstarch together in a bowl. Mix it well so that each substance mixes well with one another. If you’d like to make your paint consistency thicker, add more cornstarch to the substance. If you want something thinner, a little extra water does the trick nicely!
Step Two: Once your mixture has reached your desired consistency, drop in a few colors of food coloring. With the proper amount of food coloring, you can make your DIY body paint as dark or as light as you want it to be.
Step Three: Store your colored paint in an airtight container for up to three days. Simply wash the paint right off your skin when you are done.
