A few years ago, my family spent Christmas in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We stayed at a magical all-inclusive resort, chock-full of fun activities and great food, and came home with impressive tans. There’s something so special about the South, and I’d go back to Cabo in a heartbeat. If you’re planning a trip to this little resort destination, take a look at the list below! Here’s what you should do in Cabo!
Things You Should Do In Cabo
Visit El Arco
This was one of the first things we did during our trip to Cabo! This rock formation out in the middle of the ocean is one of Cabo’s most picturesque locations. I’ve heard that you can even walk through the arch when the tide is right! We rode out to see it on a small boat and stopped along the way to walk on Lover’s Beach, take a look at Divorce Beach. We even saw the Window to The Pacific which was simply incredible, as well.
Snorkel At Santa Marina Bay
After our ride out to see the infamous arch, our boat took us to Santa Marina Bay for some quick snorkeling. The waters in the bay were absolutely perfect for snorkeling and we saw tons of incredible wildlife. If you aren’t able to make it out to Santa Marina Bay to snorkel, I recommend checking out Chileno Beach, as well.
Go Deep Sea Fishing
While I didn’t go on this epic sea-adventure, my husband and son did! They caught tons of fresh fish, and we were able to transport what they caught back to the states with us. Head to the nearest marina for information on such tours and activities. Usually, there are several fishing charters that leave daily. Except, they always leave right at the crack of dawn!
Visit The Flea Markets
Visiting the flea market was one of the highlights of my vacation. Not only is it a great look into the Mexican culture, but you’re bound to find tons of goodies! I went home with several pieces of gorgeous jewelry and a few woven wall hangings. While here, try some fresh fruit sprinkled with chili powder.
Cliff Jump Off Of Pelican Rock
Thrill seekers should definitely put this on their list! Pelican Rock (and Pelican Beach) is a great place to go cliff diving, snorkeling, and sunbathing. As you can see, there is something here for any kind of vacationer. It’ll be a blast.
Stand Up Paddle Boarding
For those who want to get out on the water without doing any extreme sports, stand up paddle boarding is perfect. Just pick a day when the current isn’t too strong, or you might be in for kind of an intense workout!
