DIY Nautical Wreaths for ANY Season

September 28, 2017 by Brittney Jacobson Leave a Comment

I am SO In love with my nautical themed home, and I love love LOVE living so close to a beach. However, I can’t be the only nautical home lover that seems to have a hard time finding nautical wreaths to fit the seasons as they change? Do they not design them? Because no store I’ve ever been has seemed to have one!  What’s the deal, guys? I think it’s time to DIY (rather than buy) and I’ve found the GREATEST holiday wreaths for you.

I don’t know about you, buy typically I only incorporate starfish into my decor around the holidays. Which makes this wreath absolutely perfect for my Christmas decor. You can make this coastal wreath for the holiday at Crafts By Amanda.

Hello, Independence Day! I think this DIY Nautical wreath from Lil Luna is the perfect front porch accessory for the Summer months. Are you knot tying skills up to par? They should be for this project!

Summer lovin’ have me a…wreath? Of course! outfit your front porch with a summer DIY wreath featured from Christina’s Adventures. Would you judge me if I told you that my guest bathroom was outfitted in this design scheme year round? Navy stripes for all!

If you’re preparing for Fall on the coast, you certainly need to add pumpkins into your home decor. At least sometime! Chalk paint your pumpkins with this tutorial from Picky Stitch, and add some fabulous Fall accessories with these tips from Hometalk.

I’m not exactly sure which holiday (or season..) this DIY wreath falls under, but I know that I am in love with the patterned ribbon. If you’re like me, I think this would be a fantastic mid-summer porch decoration! You can buy it off of Etsy for only $35!

I know I’ve already featured a fall wreath, but I can’t resist sharing one more Autumn wreath from Homedit.  Use a burlap ribbon when creating this wreath for a coastal infusion that nods slightly to Fall. Isn’t burlap great?

It sometimes feels nearly impossible to find a Christmas wreath that still looks coastal! But it’s totally easy to make one for yourself with this DIY from Pinterest. Cover an old ship wheel with a coat of chalk paint and accessories with ribbon and fake snowflakes. Winter isn’t even a challenge for us coastal decorators anymore!

My grandmother used to love to make Easter wreaths that were slightly chaotic, but full of life. I think that’s why this wreath from Indulgy looked like such a spring wreath for me! But the most shocking part of this project is that she used products from Dollar Tree to make this project!

You can’t have too many coastal wreath options for the home! Golden seashells and Marigolds make this wreath sand out and scream Fall. I found several seashells on the beach this morning, perhaps I’ll try this project out? Project from Make Life Lovely.

Decorating for holidays on the coast is tough, but I feel like I know a thing or two! 😉
