Looking for great hotels in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina? If you are spending your vacation in the area, you’ll want to stay somewhere close to the beach, but still conveniently located in regards to everything else. And if one thing is for sure: you want to stay somewhere where you and your family will feel safe! So where is one to stay in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina? I’ve broken down a list of my favorite hotels in the area, to make your vacation planning much easier!

One of the best-rated hotels in Myrtle Beach, Marina Inn is centrally located and easily accessible. As a guest, you have private water access, a pool, a sauna, and all of the other glamorous amenities. You may not want to hang out all day at your hotel with so many other things to do in Myrtle Beach, but The Marina is a great central retreat after a long day out exploring!
This hotel is ocean front…and guests can enjoy the views from a room or the pool. Plus, there is an additional pool up top, if you’re looking to get closer to the sun for an even better tan. This hotel is located in northern Myrtle Beach, down the interstate from The Marina. However, vacationers should definitely read reviews before booking. Some are great, and some…well, see for yourself.
My family had the best time at this Myrtle Beach resort! Complete with a small waterpark (yes, that’s a lazy river!) and the most delicious oceanfront pizza. Nothing tasted better after our long flight and we loved the gorgeous views here.

It’s located on a 7.5-acre island and that’s the beauty of this perfect little resort. You’re on a tiny island! Guests can stay in a small cottage (off the island), the “Tower,” or the upscale “Bridge.” No matter where you stay, you are sure to feel completely relaxed and at home on your “plantation vacation.”
If you are planning a wedding, keep this location in mind. A close friend of mine got married here in September of last year and it was the most gorgeous ceremony. It made me want to renew my vows in the same area!
The furniture here is a bit..uh..outdated, but if you don’t plan on spending a ton of time at your hotel this could be the perfect resort for you. But don’t be dismayed, Ocean Creek does have a total of six different swimming pools, a tennis court, and other amenities. You’re sure to be entertained when you’ve come back to your hotel after a long day. There’s even a little creek that you can explore! Ocean Creek is located near Briarcliff Acres.
Every room in this resort has a gorgeous view of some sort! Located in a busy area of Myrtle Beach, vacationers have easy access to the airport, the outlet mall, and a few gorgeous beaches. Don’t forget to head up north for a day, though! Just to say you’ve done it.
