One of my good friends is leaving on a cruise through Mexico this Wednesday, and she shared all of her shopping secrets with me! Just like most Moms, she loves how much money she can save at the Dollar Store, especially on vacation necessities! If you are planning a vacation, here’s what you HAVE to pick up from the Dollar Store. You can’t live without these cheap vacation necessities.
Forget spending a ton of money on travel-sized shampoos from Target or the grocery store. At the Dollar Tree, they’re all only one dollar!
Again, you just can’t beat a dollar when buying travel sized pill boxes! You’ll save space in your luggage with just one “use all” pill box. Plus, you’ll stay organized with all of your needed medications in one spot. If you can get away with it, pack this in your carry on bag, just in case they happen to lose your luggage!
Okay, so these aren’t exactly Ziploc brand bags..but you can bet that they’ll do the trick. At only a dollar a box, you’ll save serious money (have you seen that these are at least $5 a box at the grocery store? Absurd!)
These are a must when traveling to Disney World, especially during monsoon season. I remember the last time my family traveled there…we couldn’t have gotten by without our rain ponchos or Teva sandals.
Because it’s simply no fun to dig through a suitcase of dirty clothing. It’ll be easy to unpack, as well, because all of your dirty clothes will already be sorted together!
A Pina Colada just isn’t a Pina Colada without a straw of sorts. And your kids will probably enjoy their poolside juice a little more with a straw.
Whether it’s seasickness, motion sickness, or just a really bad headache; you can’t go on vacation without stocking up on over-the-counter medications. You’ll find inexpensive things like Advil, Tylenol, Tums, and even Dramamine for cheap at the Dollar Store.
