How to Use Sea Salt To Soften Clothes

January 19, 2017 by Brittney Jacobson Leave a Comment

Is that new T-shirt of yours super uncomfortable? Could it use some softening? We’ve got you covered with this awesome tutorial! All you need is some sea salt and a bit of water. In just three days time, your new shirt will have that perfectly worn in look.

The super simple process starts with just two ingredients; a half a cup of salt, and 1 quart of water.

Mix the water and salt in a large bucket.  Submerge your shirt completely under water for 3 days.

After the 3 days has passed, wash the shirt with your other clothes. Voila! Your shirt should be good as new.. Well, old in this case!
